Debbie said YES on VAL'S DAY 2012

***TRAILER OF THE PROPOSAL***

About 9 years ago, [if memory serves me right :)], I met Debbie and Akin - Yup I've known them for a long time. I met them before they became a couple. This super HAWT (perfect match - made in heaven) couple have been together for 8 years and still counting.

They are my favorite couple of all time. If you didn't know any better, you would think I am related to them by blood. Well in fact that is not at all the case! We are not related by blood, but I call them my family because over the years they have been just that and more.

Akin and Debbie are consistently good people - I mean just plain ol' good people with no reservations. These guys are down-to-earth, and just sincere in all their deeds. This is why I love them. I have been
waiting for the day Akin will make it official and propose to my darling Debbie. When I got the call from Akin about him wanting to propose to this precious jewel, I must have done cart wheels and different styles of acrobats - LOL. I mean I was over the moon and bursting with excitement. I could not wait for that precious day, that faithful Tuesday February 14, 2012.

The number of people that showed up that night is a true testament of how wonderful Debbie and Akin truly are; I mean we literally took over Kali's Court. Thankfully, the plot worked, people showed up, we had great food, laughed and it turned out to be a great night! 02/14/12 will forever be one of my favorite days. Wanna know why? The pictures and video says it all :-)

Feyikemi's Birthday: 01.13.12

A lil' over a month ago now - WOW! That lovely Friday January 13th was different and indeed a blessed day! I started to think to myself a few months before the "D" day - hmmmm God I'd like to show you how thankful I am for life. I don't take any single day I wake up for granted, for it is not my doing but of the magnificent God! Many ideas started "dancing around my head - LOL" I finally made the decision to challenge myself to do something out of MY norm!!!

Yes out of MY norm - had to learn new culture, food, dress styles etc :) The planning was fun, informative and best of all educative for me. I pride myself in being open and learning something new everyday. I soooooooo learned a lot along the way :) Fun! Fun!! Fun!!!

Morning of my actual birthday which I celebrated on the same day, I went to the spa with some of my close friends. We had so much fun and here's a link to check out the pics: Feyikemi's Spa Photos

My perfect day was crowned with top notch fun and then some ;) yup! yup! Fun accelerated to gear 6 when I was joined by my friends and family at the venue of my party. It was everything I envisioned and more. I am very grateful to my wonderful friends and fam! There are too many pictures from that night (over a thousand...) so I have decided to compile my favorites in a slide show video for you all to enjoy!
